Mikayla had a fun time with Max today. She was a little scared at first, but she warmed up to him.
Meet Max. I'm his uncle. Kind of...
Lucky bum. We saw THREE straight flushes that night! THREE!!!! 3!!!! And Zach got TWO of them!
Cute boys. Friends of mine had me do their family pictures and I liked this shot the best.
This flower is only 1.5 inches wide. I took this while in my parents' backyard last summer.
Mikayla's 6th month picture. If only she was still interested in eating everything...
A view from up at Paraside, on Mt. Rainier. I really like that mountain.
Don't forget about a Pepsi you put in the fridge to get cold fast. It makes a little mess.
There's Washington. This is that big scarey bridge in Astoria.
Another fun angle. This time it's the Deepwood estate in downtown Salem.
Mikayla, playing outside again :)
Weeeee! Mikayla loves to play outside!

Follow me, my little chickies!
I really like lighthouses. I need to get out and shoot them more often.
The Salem Capitol building. Did you know the gold man turns around at mid-night?
Bzzzz. Macros of bugs are cool. I wish I had more.
Hello!
With a 2-yr old, there are some things that just happen. Teddy for one. Teddy goes EVERYWHERE with us and does everything Mikayla does. If we ever lost this part of our family, none of us would ever sleep again.
Sometimes a fun new angle is all that is needed to transform a fairly dull item into something interesting.
You might think this was taken in a field full of flowers on a hillside or something like that. But no, this was taken right next to a driveway between two houses. The popies you see here are pretty much all that were there - just a clever angle.
This is one of my better senior portriats...I think. He is a musician and this was shot in his home.
Daddy's little girl! This is my 2nd daughter, Lily, at one day old. She was already tired of me taking pictures of her :)
I really like kingfishers. They are a visually intriguing bird, IMHO.
Bottoms up! I got this shot while birding in Olympia with my father-in-law. I could help but take a shot of these goofy ducks. What quacks!
