Well, yesterday was our big trip to the Oregon Zoo. Mikayla had a BLAST! The elephants were the highlight of the trip and they were almost last, so that was good.
It's hard to take good photos of animals in captivity. For the elephants, I tried zooming in close and capturing their facial features. I think it works. I really like this shot.
I'll be posting more this week from the zoo. I got bats, tigers, eagles, and more. I didn't end up doing night shots in Portland last night, I was just too tired. I was so tired I forgot about Poker Night at Lefty's! How was it (for anyone that went)?
Also, I am posting this entry from my newly installed Windows XP machine. Yes, my iPod/iTunes works now. \\/00T!!
